Ncm Moscow Crank loose

Hi, has anyone had their crank come loose on the NCM Moscow.movement noticed when rocking pedal arms side to side

It would be highly unusual for a sealed bottom bracket to go bad on a relatively new bike. If it doesn't move a lot and you hear a "clunk" when you grab the arms and forcefully move them laterally, that is an indication that the cartridge was not tightened enough when it left the factory. You would need to remove both crank arms, loosen the left side support cup very slightly, tighten the cartridge on the right side fully (it is left hand threaded) to approximately 40 ft.lbs., and retighten the other side.

Thanks for the reply. Dosen't appear to be any lateral movement. With pedals at 6 and 12 oclock if you pull up and down seems to be more movement than I would expect..Maybe normal will keep my eye on it.
The bike has been great off road pulls real good up the hills.

Hi Swilky, this is the part I used to replace my Bottom Bracket.
Shimano BB-UN26 Bottom Bracket - Black, 68-122 mm
If you search on Amazon you should find it. Mine is a Moscow 27.5 bike.
The original make on the NCM Moscow is from NECO. I think the Shimano one would be better quality.
