Narrower tires for Juiced RCS

I have a juiced RCS but I've been thinking of swapping out the 26 x 4.0 tires for a set that's a little narrower. What size tires can I possibly put on the RCS? I want something in the range of 2.8 or 3.0. Is this possible giving the rim size? The RCS is my first e-bike and first bike in general since my teenage years. Any advice is welcome.

I think Juiced would the the ones to consult, and get the exact specs for the rims. I'm thinking you'll need new wheels, but I'm just guessing.

Akrotiri, I just got an RCS for Christmas and after about 100 miles of trails and forest service roads I’ve realized that I won’t be riding single track with this bike. Just too big and heavy and the shock bottoms out with little effort. So I started investigating my options with regard to making it faster/smoother on roads and bike paths. Don’t know what your motivation is but that’s what made me swap the tires for some Origin8 Supercells in 26/4.00. What a difference. I am faster and the bike is surprisingly quiet on asphalt with the Supercells and those tires are still grippy enough that I can still ride forest service roads. Maybe that’s an option for you? I’ve attached a picture of ‘Lord Orse’ with his new tires.

That is an option for me actually, I'm probably going to buy those since swapping out the tires is a bit more involved because I8'm going to have to get different wheels and adjust the display settings for tire revolutions so your solution is the easier, quicker solution.
