My first Mid Drive

That's a wheelie monster!

The goal of that Marin mid-drive was to out Como-Como a Turbo Como. That bike had 864 watts on the tiny mid-drive torque sensor. The Como is vanilla ice confection that melts to the substantial hot tamales enchilada sauce, sour cream, and onions with cilantro and jalapenos, that Marin serves up. That bike could climb anything while in the saddle. Nothing wrong with the Como. It is a beautiful bike.

The Cannondale branded comfort saddle is indeed comfortable but me being me I found a deal on a new Brooks B67 S dark tan softened. I am curious to see how it compares to my B67 regular which I have broken in to be very comfortable now.

Three digit code 2C3 translates to March 2023 manufacture.

The Brooks saddles get better over time whereas the foam saddles break down over time. Registered with Brooks for 10 year warranty instead of standard two years. Will see if they accept my eBay purchase for that.

I like the ostrich texture on top. I have previously mentioned that I hit the underside with lanolin and use a heat gun then stand on the saddle. It makes it soft and springy.

Yes I remenber but this saddle is pre softened and uses a softer leather hence the laces to keep it from sagging too much. Should be plenty soft right out of the box.
