I finally started to ride my bike yay 😁
I think my front spokes are lose, I hear twanging type spoke noise when riding , bumping the front up and down doesn’t make any noise. If I use my fingers and squeeze the spokes the same sort of noise occurs like when I’m riding.

Tight spokes twang and loose spokes thud. Plucking them is how many wheel builders judge spoke tension. Truing wheels is a good skill to learn and spoke wrenches are cheap.

I would recommend a little more reading instead of starting a new thread for absolutely everything. See the Ride1Up support pages and previous threads here and at the FB Ride1Up ebike owners group.

I have a spoke wrench, the actual one Ride1Up linked from their technical support pages. I figured I’d need one. But before I go turning spokes clockwise Willy nilly I was hoping to learn the basics first.

You can use a zip tie on the seat stays as calipers if you don't have a truing stand. Spin the wheel and see if the rim moves away from or closer to your zip tie or calipers You tighten the spokes a quarter turn at a time to make it move the rim away from the gauge. The rim should be centered between the stays.

Just an update , it appears the reflectors on the spokes were causing the noise. I did a method of elimination as a test. I removed the spoke reflectors and the noise no longer is present.
However, there is another noise that I cannot replicate, it appears to come from the front fork stem area. its not. twang but a deeper metal to metal noise which probably occurs once or twice every 6 or so miles. Pushing the front up and down etc cannot replicate noise. Mmmm its a hard one. I may remove front fender and start from there, But the fender is tin and I doubt its originating from there.
