Mount ST2 on a trainer?

Looking to get a professional bike fit and the bike would need to be set on a trainer. Removing the rear wheel looks easy enough.

Any reason why the bike couldn't be mounted on a trainer without the rear hub wheel? Just want to make sure there's no chance of damaging the bike. I assume it's fine.

If you are just using the trainer for bike fit, then it should be fine.
Just ask them to be careful when removing the rear wheel and reinserting it after the bike fitting.
