Motor for a 16 raleigh sprite ie

I’m looking for a motor for a 16 Raleigh sprite ie. I’m looking for a clutch also. I’ve recently spent over $600 on this bike at a local shop and it still does not work. It has a new controller and cables but now the clutch slips. The bicycle shop says it needs a motor. I have a friend looking at it who thinks it might be the clutch. Would like to purchase used parts due to what I’ve already invested since no one seems to know the problem.
