Looking to get the right fit for me

Better check that carefully. I believe the E motors are 40 to 50 nm. of torque on both the Vado and Como 3s.
I must not understand how all the inner workings of motors go. I can tell you that the Vado 3 and Como 5 felt very similar in power with the Vado 4 being just a little less powerful. It seemed to coincide with the Nm being 72 for the Vado 4 and 90 Nm for the Como 5 and Vado 3. I decided to go for the Vado 4 all things considered. I deeply appreciate all the patience and help along the way!

If anyone could point me in the direction of some threads that talk about some common upgrades/updates, I would appreciate that as well.

90 Nm for the Como 5 and Vado 3
Vado 3 has a 50 Nm motor. Show me Ethan please where it was written about 90 Nm...

If you have just tried the bikes in the parking lot then learn the truth will come out at the first hill...
I'm glad you chose Vado 4. It was an extremely reasonable choice because Vado 4 has good componentry, and the 1.2 motor (72 Nm) is some standard we can compare other motors to. Besides, the 1.2 is silent under any circumstances (the stronger 1.3 can be audible under heavy load). No Vado 4 owner has ever complained on the bike performance!

Congratulations and many happy rides!

Feel invited to the Vado/Como User Club!

After reading this, I’m wondering if my girlfriends Vado 3 might be a 2019:

Here’s another claiming to be 90 Nm, an EBR review (2017 model, though I’m sure my girlfriend’s isn’t that old):

I will say, whatever my girlfriends Vado 3 torque is, it felt very very similar to the Como 5.

Ethan,
The information you have quoted is greatly outdated, at least :) It is good you eventually made a right decision.
