Lezyne macro light

I don’t know if I’m not using the light right or something else

do not seem to be able to keep it on the brightest one which I’m guessing is 1000 with a solid light, it seems to want to flash o
If I get it on the brightest solid light tends to be there a couple of seconds and then go down to half that

does that light have a sensor on it? I’m wondering if the light above it is making it think it’s daylight and that’s why it’s cutting down to what looks like half brightness

The manual says it’s controlled by the E bike but I’m changing the settings on the actual light, any suggestions would be great

There's a small switch at the rear of the light (right next to where the wire goes in). Try to push it and it should allow you to toggle through the different modes.

How many switches on it, am pushing a round one on the back now and it does toggle through the settings
But the brightest one won’t hold for more than a few seconds

Not sure when I will get to ride again but will turn off the top light, toggle thru and see if that makes a difference or not...

rode it again today and into the evening

shut off all the lights to make sure nothing was triggering it to dim
then went into display settings and turned auto light off and it still is not working right...????
toggled through all the settings a few times

it cannot hold the brightest setting...
it is bright for a few seconds and then dims

this light is the 1000 watt? is the voltage from bafang 6 or 12 or does it matter?

any suggestions?

Hmm... The Bafang output is 6V and is barely enough to sustain the Macro - i checked and I see that on one bike it holds fine, the other one it dims a little bit.

This looks like a combination of issues - that motor output is limited and i suspect a little loose connection from the motor. Can you please check the latter ?

I am seeing this same exact behavior. I cannot get it to stay at 1000. Interestingly I found if I press the button to put it in the brightest mode while the bike is plugged in and charging it will stay at the brightest setting and not dim slowly and then return to brightness over and over again like it does with only the battery.

This is good to know. Doing the second (independent) head lights was a good idea on our part.

If there are existing customers who have this issue, please reach out to me. We can provide the secondary light (lezyne megadrive 1800 ) at a special customer-only price.

Hello, my brand-new LEZYNE Macro Drive 100, which is connected to the Bafang Ultra Mid Drive Motor 6 volt headlight power line, is exhibiting the exact same behavior.

I cannot seem to keep the LEZYNE Macro Drive 100 on maximum brightness consistently... it seems sometimes it does work, and then it starts alternating between low beam and high beam without input from me.

If anyone has any pointers on how to get this light to stay on max consistently, please share.

Thank you.
