I have only had the bike since nov 26th. I put at least 120 miles week on it sometimes more. now here is a hill still not as steep and I have done it is only 14 % grade at the top. 16 can be hard. I changed the gearing from a 22t chain ring to a 18 now it climbs like a goat.

Same here! Mont Royal in Montréal is so much easier :) (Gen 4 Cx with a 625 kWh battery). And nice bike Steve! Hopefully I’ll get to 20k too with mine, which might be a little newer than yours!! - Only 3 weeks old.

That may be impressive for an average cyclist.

For Steve, that is like a walk in the park...

I hope you ride and enjoy many more tens of thousands of miles Steve!

I am a BELOW average cyclist but thanks for the kind words all ! I used google to plot a circle route around North America . If someone started in Vancouver then headed east across to Halifax and south down to Miami and then back across to San Diego they would still need to ride another 2400 km to get home to Vancouver for a total of 22500 km or 14000 miles. Now I am challenging one of you younger bucks to plan to complete a trip like this sometime in the Post-Covid future!
