My KBO Hurricane started giving an Error code 1 (communication error). Anyone came across this and how to fix this? I removed and replugged all the connectors, but the error is not going away
Yes i reached out to them, but to get them speaking I had ssweat a lot. They were on total denial that controller was the issue. I had hardly used the bike for 50 miles since purchased it. When I started looking into how the controller or the battery can be removed to my shock I found that they had shipped the bike with a broken bolt. It took several weeks for me to convince them as each customer support person who responds to the email start the thread back from the beggining. I posted the pictures and videos and finally they got convinced and agreed to send the replacement part, but I had to pay 90 dollars which they say is refundable after I send them back the removed part. Now my challenge is to remove the broken nut. They have promised to pay 50 dollars towards the labor if i take this to any repair shop. I still have to see where to get this done. Overall it took more than 2 months to receive the part and as I live in east cost the clod air is already making its way, I lost precious 2 months of biking.
Overall I think as it is new company they dont have proper cutomer support and quality control, which may improve over the period of time, if they stay in business, but with the type of support they are offering now they have a steep hillt o climb to be a better cutomer oriented company. As of now it looks like there is complete disarray.
Well, that is first thing everyine do. Each bile is different. I dont think they have standarized thsi across different manufacturers. If the motor does not kick in at all these error codes are usesless.
