I just bought a Yamaha Zuma that has been converted to an ev and I found this site in hopes of finding out exactly what I have and most importantly how to improve on it. Unfortunately I'm not only a newb but I'm also clueless when it comes to how these things work. Just hoping I didn't make a mistake cause when I read your post it's like another language. And don't get me started on commenting on all the videos I watched today that highlighted ev scooters from India. Couldn't understand a word but was sure impressed at how common they are. I think electronics is like a second language to most of them. Anyway hopefully I can learn enough to not spend my money foolishly while trying to upgrade the parts.

Do you prefer to clip-in or use platform pedals on your electric bicycle? If I understand your opening paragraph (OP), you or someone else took a gas powered 120cc Yamaha Vespa-like scooter, without pedals, just a foot deck and twist throttle, and made it into an electric bicycle with pedals. We would like to see photos. It is a miracle! Who did the conversion? It is insane and brilliant, or magical.
