There's no doubt that there will be some persons reading this thread and thinking, 'Who is this total arse on this site? this blithering egotistical extrovert idiot?'. Etc etc etc. They will be there and there is nothing you can do about it, haha. But it is just fun, take it or leave it. Life can be damned hard sometimes, so just a bit of time out sometimes. Fun. Gets you through. No worries.

Tiamat. Any album, but Wildhoney or A Deeper Kind of Slumber are the best.
Marilyn Manson. Mechanical Animals is a great album.
Depeche Mode. I prefer the later albums.
I rarely listen to mellow stuff though. I'll dig thru my CD's and see what I missed.
I still need to discover the albums by Genesis with Peter Gabriel, and his solo stuff.
I HATED Steely Dan as a kid. We called it elevator rock. I actually like them now.
Bob James. Discovered him thru TV theme songs.
I'll check out the stuff you suggested as well.

Here, the UK, it truely feels like FREEDOM. It is a powerful thing. I feel very lucky to be born here. It's a great life, not that I am rich, far from it, but I am free, feel free. I love it. I am sooooo thankful to those who were before me and fought for freedom. I am thankful for those in power who allow this. It is always nibbled at, but I hope those in power can allow us freedom, it is much valued, even if some citizens don't realize how lucky they are, FREEDOM, so good. Thank you to those politicians who fight our corner....thanks.

I was just reading about the US troops trying to flush that Manuel Noriega guy out of his neutral zone (Embassy) with heavy metal music. THAT would be a fun job! We have a group of car stereo enthusiast that meet at our local mall parking lot. Yes, I said mall. But anyways, one of them has HRTZKIL on his plate, meaning hertz kill. I was 5 cars back and his bass drop shook MY speedo needle! Five cars back! Felt like an explosion. Now I want to upgrade my cars audio system. Sundown Audio does a 6" sub that slams, but you gotta pay to play! I don't want to loose my trunk space to some hulking sub-woofer box. The smaller the better.
