My blood pressure can't take anymore of this excitement. That is one helluva good looking bike. Are you going to offer this new design? And is that the bafang Max Drive. I really like the integrated battery. Much cleaner design. Are you going to start using the integrated battery on all you future bikes?

That is our latest prototype using the Max drive. Yes, the integrated battery does look quite sleek! We're considering using this type of integrated battery on our future bikes. Nothing written on stone yet.

The torque sensor is a very different feel from the PAS. Torque sensor only puts out power when your feet does. It almost always motivates me to pedal harder and harder every time I get out.
IGH doesn't work as well as we want it to on a mountain bike. That's why this bike is equipped with Deore XT components
I agree with Jolly, it's a sweet, and very clean looking ride.
Glad you're going to keep existing models of Juggernaut as well.
Torque sensing may be required for some, but a cadence sensor is all that others need, myself included as I can pedal as mush as I want or just pretend to. When a person is tired for example, and don't feel like putting in their share, the simpler system is the better. (but that is just one opinion)

Avid Hydraulic brakes, smooth PAS (MAX drive), Suntour suspension seatpost, integrated 48V, 11.6Ah battery. Great specs.
Felt did it with Lebowsk-e and kind of faded away because of price and a lot of other things.
iGo released a nice fattie on CF campaign but lost traction. Izip sumo comes close to it in terms of specs but is priced at $3.5K
So, if you can sell this for a very competitive price, let's say $2.3K, you sway a lot of customers away from Sumo, Radrover etc.
If you can release a non-fattie version with similar specs and suspension, you could give some serious competition.

Roshan just posted their full sus bike I think it is the monte, for $1600, it is posted in the forum for our order. If he can make that bike at that price, no reason this should be more than $2k (crossed fingers!)

While the integrated battery does look very sleek, at least for me, I think the way it is currently (non-integrated) is a lot more practical. My work is 13 miles away and I commute on my Juggernaut (well, have for 2 days now ) - I need to take the battery inside to charge it on my desk otherwise I am afraid that I don't have enough juice to get home.
I have to say, I really love the Juggernaut, it is so much fun to ride, but the peddle assist doesn't really feel like "you". I only really use pedal assist when I am worried about power usage - otherwise I find myself peddling and adjusting the throttle to tell the motor how much effort I want it to put in so that I can either peddle harder or less hard. Having peddle assist sense the torque would make it more useful. I saw on a web page that Bafang is actually working on a bottom bracket that senses torque and cadence.. Would be cool if that could be retrofitted to the bbs02

@mklose, this max mid drive is torque assist rather than pedal assist sensor. Having owned a bh neo xtrem which had torque, and now the radrover which had just pedal assist without the torque sensor, I can say the difference is quite obvious. This will also have a big battery and with mid drives being more efficient, 26 miles round trip should be quite doable.

Integrated means that the battery looks like its a part of the frame. You can still easily remove the integrated battery from the bike with the key.
