I need help: what is the best way to solder wires to the battery terminals of a Joyisi 52V battery? (See photos)

In the 1980s and 1990's the computer industry was marked by a lack of standards among hardware manufacturers. Seems the ebike thing is in the same phase. Someday it will improve but until then... I bought (very recently, it just arrived today) a 'Joyisi' 52 volt battery, aluminum case, mounting rack etc. No joy here - the damn thing arrived with bare terminals. I need a functioning battery and don't want to wait Why is this an okay thing for the seller to do? I've sent my questions to the seller but don't expect much. I'm mostly angry with myself because, once again, I made a stupid purchase and have to suffer the consequences of my own stupidity.

There are many options for attaching battery terminals, most just require crimping onto the wire ends.
If you want to solder, the best method I have found insert the heat shrink on to one end then twist the wires together longitudinally add a bit of flux, if it's solid core solder, heat the wires and touch the solder to the heated wire, when it get hot enough the solder will melt into the two wires. Then slip the heat shrink over the soldered wires and heat to set, that's it. That methoud will give a stronger bond that just the original wire.
EDIT after looking closly at your photos , it appears you have the type of terminal on your battery where you push a small lever down insert the wire end and release. Not sure but that's what it looks like. Not sure what the alligator clip is for.

You mean, like speakers? The terminals do not appear to have this function (I've tried to push them down buy there is no space for a wire at all.
Oh - the alligator c;lip? Earlier I tinned the tips of the X-60 connectors

Be careful, as there is a lot of juice at those terminals but, there should be some way to insert a wire. Maybe you have to pull out the plastic tap to insert the wire, then push the tab back in???
This is the first time I have seen this set up let me know what you fine out.

You need to take a screwdriver and remove the end cover. Then you will be able to see what wires are available to solder to.

I did a little research and it looks like there should be discharge lines coming out of the Jyoisi battery. Did you get any instructions? You may have gotten a lemon, w/out discharge lines.

There's definitely a connector that fits it... You just need to track it down.
Are you trying to use the battery without the mounting plate?

As you have done, start with the seller and give them a few days

That's a socket for Anderson SB50 connector.
Did a quick comparison and, that is an Anderson socket.
Very strange set up, as now you need to know what size Anderson to plug into it.
I would return it for a "complete" battery.

Return it? You meant the whole battery?
Would it be possible that they just forgot to include the Anderson SB50?
Looks like they would normally include the SB50 connector.

It would be much easier to ask them to send the SB50, instead of returning the whole battery.

Also, what do you mean by what size?
I doubt it's an SB120, SB175 or even SB350. I know it's hard to tell by the picture, but I would imagine most ebike battery will be equipped with SB50?
Amazon.com : Joyisi Ebike Battery 52V 48V 36V 20AH Electric Bike Battery for 200W to 1800W Bike Motor, Lithium Ion Ebike Battery Pack for Bafang Voilamart AW and Other Motor Bicycle :
Personally, I would return it and charge the shipment to them! Or get another battery all together.
Yes there are different size connectors, so that makes it a headache to match IMO.
When I purchase something as expensive as a battery, I expect it to be complete.
We haven't heard from the OP, but from the pic you posted he didn't get a operations manual either.

Cant you call the place you bought it and ask them what connector it is? and if they have one for sale?

Or Some blade connections in a larger awg (or Gauge wire) that will slip over the blades.. I did that with another batttery I did a retro on with another bike.. worked great.. Just makes sure its tight and wont vibrate loose... You can use a screw driver to adjust size a little and plyers to pinch the ends back down a little..

Really easily solved. Timpo opened the door, now the OP simply needs the seller to step up or make an Amazon order that will arrive in a day or two. Aftermarket batteries and kit building very often require changing connectors. eBike 101? or more like eBike 5th grade...
The pictured pigtail will STILL need connectors to match the motor input.

Anyone honest will own making mistakes in purchasing, but this ISN'T a mistake. It's just not in your skill set. But it will be...

Yeah you can jury rig it ...but why? If I pay good money, I expect a complete product.
Maybe that's just me. But if more people demanded to get what they paid for, maybe sellers would be more careful what they ship out, In any case, more quality control is needed.

No reason to jury rig when connectors are readily available.

@ Timpo, I'll post this again if you missed it.
I'm having too good a day to get into a silly argument over this.

Perhaps let's let the OP reply before beating this non problem to death with what should have been obvious and/or ridiculous solutions 🤣🤣🤣
