Jack Rabbit is misleading...

Agreed. It seems to be a cross between an e-scooter and an e-bike. It will be interesting to see how it is regulated.

Some design tradeoffs. Needs to go slow because only a rear brake, but that's good . If it had front brakes, locking up the front wheel would throw you over the bars. Intuitively, it seems like it will be a twitchy ride. Probably a 10 mile range for a fat guy like me.

Probably fits on public ways as a scooter. I don't know if I would like it. No exercise.

Looks more like a Jack Hammer than a rabbit. With that short a wheel base it probably rides like one on uneven ground also. With that type of riding position it would be nearly impossible to unweight yourself from the saddle as you can do on more conventional bicycle to avoid getting jolted. If you watch the video towards the end the rider gets a pretty good pop off the seat riding a dirt trail.

This along with the moped in the other post that were Indiegogo funded successfully seems to indicate that lot's of people are looking not as much at conventional bicycle type e transport but are perhaps attracted to alternative ones that might not make as much sense to those of us that already use eBikes.

If you scroll down there's a promo video that puts it all into perspective. Definitely a nitch vehicle. College campuses? Why not just get a small bike?
