It's arrived!!

Well it finally happened. I received my radmission this morning. It's beautiful, shiny and clean, absolutely no shipping damages whatsoever. My only problem is when I ordered in July, (and I knew it was backordered) was i really hoped that i would be able to ride it before snow fell.
My plans didn't really work out that way. This morning, I looked out the window and was blinded from all the white freshly fallen snow on the ground. There must be over 15 centimeters (or 6 inches of you don't know the metrics system)
Darn! So now I am looking at my brand new toy that is safely stored in my apartment waiting for the snow to go away. It's a good thing that we Canucks only get snow 5 months of the year where I live.

Houston, we have accumulation. OK, perhaps not as much as you folks have received in our fair capital but still significant enough to stay off the QE2.

Congrats on the new arrival and hope that you can still get out there before it's too late in the season.

Nice! Are you gonna do anything to your bike?
I may put some go fast speed wax on it so it will fly in the spring time. I will probably get some fenders, kick stand or a rack and get them powder coated. It's a blue model so I am thinking maybe white or yellow color for different color arrangement. I'll definitely be adding a speedometer to track distances.

that sucks lol, just go on amazon and look for accessories until the roads clear!

How about some pics? How tall are you which mission did you choose? I gave up from waiting, hows the seat height in comparison to handle bars?

Congrats on the new bike, shame you can't ride it at the moment! This reminds me of 2014 when I ordered myself a stunning new bike and just before I took delivery in April 2014 I became unwell, I was sick for over 5 months and had no energy even for walking! I had to put the bike in my attic because I couldn't face looking at it! :( It was September before I managed my first ride on it but it was sure worth the wait!:D Your time will come and I'm sure it will give you many miles of joy!:)

Nice pic.
Here's a couple of pics of my bike in its winter home. I currently work at home and I can see both of my bikes sitting and waiting to be used. I know my rad bike will need some fenders, upgraded display and maybe a rack on the back. Another thing I do like is the reflective stripes on the tires

Yes, I was joking about speed wax.

It would kill me to keep looking at the bike knowing I couldn't use it ;) Nice bike so I hope you will enjoy it when you can!

Are both your rides e-bikes? Mine is stored as well but I manage to get out on my analog on days like today.

Yes. I also have an apollo and that is more of a commuter bike. The apollo is a fantastic bike but only 350 watts. It has thinner tires, 7 speed gear changer and I sit more forward than on the rad. I will post a pic of it.
It definitely bugs me since I work at home and these are in plain view from my desk

Any idea what the temperature range on your battery is? What about an insulated cover for it? I guess you could still venture out on warmer days, speaking in relative terms of course. ;)

Another suggestion might be to install a set of studded tires to get you out on the road and put an end to those winter bike blues. Check out MEC for 650B studded commuters or perhaps a used set on Kijiji.
