Thanks for welcoming me to this forum. I've just bought a pre owned Specialized Creo SL ebike after riding standard bikes for most of my adult life. I've reached a stage in my life when I need some assistance to enjoy rides with my mates who are younger and stronger than I. Love this ebike. At least I don't get dropped off too often and can climb the hills and face strong head wind with ease. I still ride my Lynsky titanium bike occasionally to get some good workout. Looking forward to reading and posting in the forums and the advice I can get for all the members. Ride safe.

Welcome to the forum! Great to have you here. I can completely relate. I’m also fairly new to this community, and it’s been awesome seeing how supportive everyone is.
Congrats on the Specialized Creo SL! It’s a solid choice, especially for keeping up with stronger riders and enjoying those long climbs without burning out too early. Love that you’re still mixing it up with your Lynskey for those hardcore workout days, best of both worlds!
Looking forward to learning from everyone here as well. Ride safe and enjoy the miles ahead! 🚴‍♂️💨

Welcome to the forum! (And welcome Ava.)

My main bike (my fourth) is a Canyon Grizl: ON CF 7, a 55nm gravel bike, though I also have a 40nm Motobecane Ultra eMTB). I've also had two conversions that failed, one a Marin with a TSDZ2B which cracked-- hey, it was an experimental build, we knew it was risky-- and an old Trek 900 with a Hilltopper front hub drive.

All of my bikes, even the two that didn't work out, where a lot of fun. I ride mostly in Griffith Park and the Hollywood hills, and I'm a fitness rider. I think eBiking was the main reason I survived a serious, life threatening medical event; the doctors told me if I wasn't in such good physical condition, I wouldn't have made it (though I also like swimming, body boarding when conditions are not too insane at my home break, and a few days of skiing, when health and conditions permit.)

The Creo is a great choice! This forum has been an incredible source of information, and I'm really grateful to all the folks here.

Welcome aboard!

We'd love to see your bikes and the places you ride. My 3 favorite forum threads are the ones for sharing ride photos.
