BBS02 on tandem. Recently cleaned and greased both sides of the motor. We’re getting horrible sounds in time with pedal stroke, but not all the time. We’ll be climbing and it’ll start then stop for no reason. Riding flats and it starts and stops. Sometimes coasting for a few seconds makes it go away but it comes back after pedaling for a short while.
Had a different noise recently that I tracked to a stripped thread in one of the holes for frame clamp thingy. Rotated clamp, used the good hole and used hose clamp to attach to chainstay (see photo). That seemed to solve the problem but now there’s this new noise. Of course it won’t make the noise on the work stand.
