integrated brake and shifter

My donor bike has the integrated shifter brake setup.
This makes it difficult to use the included brake levers with motor cutoff.

Can I use these and keep my original brakes?

I've never used one, but why not. Here's one caution.

On some really old donor bikes, with frayed cable ends, after you take the cable out of its housing, it can be really hard to get it back inside. Might have to buy a new housing/cable.

The ACera M310's trigger shifters are $20-22 a set. Work really nice and you can get 7 speed or 8 speed. I will buy them and use with the kit ebrake levers when I have an old bike with integrated shifters.

That's one solution.
I found these, they look interesting.

Ouch, I sort of assumed $39.00 was for a pair of the Tripwires. But it looks like they are $39 a piece!

I'm out at that price!

Bafang kit/conversion? If so, their magnetic brake sensors that stick on your existing brake levers are about $15 for a pair. I have one extra if you need/want it.

Thank you for the offer. It's an Ebikling kit without the waterproof connectors(long story!)
At this point I'm going to finish the build up to the brakes then decide:
1. swap to independent shifter brake setup
2. Rig something up with existing kit switches, there is a youtube video on how to do it...pretty simple.
3. Go with an aftermarket cutoff setup.

Right now I'm leaning strongly towards #2.

In the meantime, I contacted Grin and asked if the tripwires were sold in pairs....I got a rather interesting response.
I see their point but.....

"I guess it depends on what you're using the brake for. Most users don't bother with ebrakes unless they are using them to trigger regenerative braking. Since it's typical to squeeze both brake levers at once if you're trying to stop quickly, having just one connected will typically do the job. That said if you would be more comfortable with having two (say for braking while signaling a turn), they daisy chain together just fine."

I have a 7spd shimano trigger shifter if you need/want it. Ordered it from china when they were all backordered, finally got it, didn't need it.

Wife needs motor cut off on both sides. You never know what logic there is in a braking situation. "But you said..." 🤣

LOL..I can see myself contemplating which brake lever to pull as I pile into the rear of a car!

I'll keep you in mind if I go that route
Thank you.
