Ok looks like I am going with the Trek S Series 19.5" with 26" wheels. Looking at a rear wheel motor SOON.

I need new rotors and pads for this bike...

I have no idea what to get.. Can you help a dude and point me in the right direction for some pads and rotors that won't sink my wallet.

Thanks everyone

But if you can afford it..

Galfer 223mm rotor

Galfer 63mm adapter (for front, assuming you currently have 160mm mount)
putting the wrong size rotor on a fork can be hazardous. forks are specified on the disc size they can handle.

yeah I've upgrade discs but I never hit the fork.
However, I found that torque of larger disc was way too much for quick releaser axle.
Anyways, 160mm it is.
I put a 203 on our tandem and it just touched the fork I ground the edge down a Tiny bit and it worked. the mechanic upgraded the brakes and it never touched. so maybe he chose a different rotor or is more skilled. my fork on my commuter was only rated for 180

The brakes are Avid BB5. I ordered new rotors and the disks look new.

The bike is Trek 6000 and it’s very light aluminum.

Can’t wait to stick a motor in it..
