Hey everyone, been seeing these crazy deals popping up on Amazon lately - e-bikes under $500 (prices keep jumping around like crazy - $180 one day, $449 the next) with legit-looking 52V 34Ah batteries, dual motors, and all the bells and whistles that usually cost 3x that price. Kinda tempting ngl, especially when they're sitting at #1 on the electric bike bestseller list.

We all know you can't build a quality e-bike for that kinda money. Battery alone should be $200+ wholesale, motor's gotta be cheap imported junk, frame looks like it'd snap on the first real hill... So what's the real deal here? Chinese knockoffs with fake specs? Batteries that catch fire after 2 months? Planned obsolescence scam? Or am I just too cynical?

No links cuz I ain't shilling for em, just search "ebike" on Amazon and boom - #1 is the one I'm talking about. What's your take fellas? Anyone actually bought one and lived to tell the tale? Worth the gamble for a beater commuter, or straight dumpster fire waiting to happen?

And then you get this,
These are not cheap bikes, I have the Juggs 4 Ultra and it a tough going bike.....
If I wanted another one I buy it in a heartbeat.....as it's got a couple of features that are kind'a neat, ie; removeable top bar....
Kinda shows the mark up on these bikes.
Tia
