Hydra question

I'm confused about if we can reprogram the hydra motor or if it is locked? It looks like on the page it can't be changed. If I get the bafang stock controller I think I could reprogram it to use less power like the x1 but with more freedom?

The Hydra has an option for a programming cable and updates, so I would say yes you can change the programming

Oh that "harness" is the cable I guess. But I'm nit sure if that only allows their firmware updates or not. I think it must allow programming. Thank you.

It is the programming cable for the Archon X1 controller actually, so if your question was about programming the stock controller, you need to verify with @pushkar if it can do both.
I know the stock controller programming Software is available online somewhere

Inotrace controller is programmable much like the original Bafang controller. The only restriction is if you only purchase the cheaper 1000w version you cannot program it to go up to 2300w later. Without paying the extra amount. Honestly the 1000w version is probably twice the torque of a Bosch motor

The 1000W is nominal it can still spike beyond that for brief periods, 30A X 52V = 1560W.
The spike alone is higher than the legal limit in some countries 😄
