A man wrote me an estimate this afternoon. He said my carbon copy was faint and offered me a picture. He sent it from his phone to mine. I asked if he could email it so I'd have it on my Mac. It didn't arrive. I guess he got my email address wrong.

How can I email an Android text attachment?

Tap the picture in the text to select it and tap the download icon (down arrow to an inbox). Then go to the gallery and select the photo. There should be an option to email to someone (sideways V shaped icon) if you have an email account configured on your phone.

Open the image on android, Somewhere on the screen there should be a share Icon

Then in the list of possible share select the email application and send the email to yourself.

You could also just connect your phone to the mac via USBC and grab the image from the pictures or download folder, wherever the image is located on the phone

It said I was sending it with bluetooth, then said it failed. I thought I was attaching the file to an email, but when I opened it on the Mac, it had no content. Arggh!

Got it! I got that phone as a phone. How am I supposed to know all those icons and swipes and other stuff? Bluetooth failed again, but email worked this time.

Thanks for the tips!
I took a smartphone course from my very young cousin back in 2013 :)
A smartphone is a handheld computer with the phone as one of the least useful options :) Phone is just one of many apps.
