Anyway, I bought a Hiwiway Zebra under 2 years now (I'm in UK).... and to cut long story short... or shorter.... controller died... eventually got a replacement from Himiway, worked fine apart from changing anything on the display doesn't do anything to do with power/motor. Change it to 20mph and it only goes at 15mph.... adjust the PAS percentage settings.. and it's stuck on 15mph on all 1-5 modes - bit hazardous when riding in pedestrian area!, etc. Himiway says that's what it suppose to be... and can't get a different one.... really!?
Anyway... I bought a controller from Ecomove (as reliable as Himiway)... and they sent me one but the connectors are different from my original one so doesn't fit. I emailed them... no reply. But then got another one through the post... BUT it was the same type with wrong connectors... now I have 2. It's now over 2 months since I bought first one... still no reply.
SO... I ordered one from Himiway Germany (niece lives there)... cost any arm and leg with custom charge.... and when it came.... guess what? YEP! It also had different connectors... same as one from Ecomove. I'm at a lost... as I now have 3 controllers with different connectors, down around £400 and a bike that works... but can't change the settings.
Thing is, I ordered the Zebra D5 controller because my bike has "D5" on the top bar (photo attached).... but is it really a D5 or just the older Zebra model? I've included photos of my old controller connectors (with green tick) and the ones I got posted (with the red cross).. anyone identify the connectors to the bike? Also anyone know the wiring diagram for the red cross controller --- maybe I can rewire with the old controller connectors?
