Hi. I have a giant dirt e+2 2016.

Absolutely love this bike.

Done a few modifications.

Upgraded to shimano deore xt rear deraillier.

Gone to a single 45 tooth front chain ring with chain guide.

Extra battery

Sram RE disc brakes

Suntour NCX suspension seat post

Changed display and controls to one from a giant charge which gives me walk assist.

Changed motor bolts to titanium for better anti corrosion.

Had speed box 2 but kept turning bike off so using badass dongle till my greenped tuning tool arrives

Extra charger for work

Schwalbe marathon supreme tires for better rolling resistance.

Shorter stem to bring handlebars closer to me.

DMR vault pedals.

Nice to meet you all.

Welcome to the site.
I see you are a do it yourselfer although you bought an e-bike as a package. As you see left, I bought the bike to fit my needs then added electricity later. Along with two racks, lights, soft hand grips, a saddle that fits me better than OEM, and tires that won't puncture on road trash until the knobs wear off. I built my 4 amp charger with two voltage settings from surplus parts, instead of buying the $70 2 amp offering from the battery vendor made in *****.

My next e bike would ideally be a DIY job. Didn't really know much about the diy side if things when I got the giant. It's such a nice bike though.

You've certainly done a lot of very nice up grades to your bike. As a cat owner ( 2) I like the 'cameo' of your kitty in the sixth picture. Speaking
of pictures, I might check the left side of the first picture between the rear tire and fender.....

Haha. Sorry about that. Must have happened whilst I was taking the pics.

We have 4 ragdoll cats.

:) Oh wow, 4 ragdolls...Wow ! They're beautiful....And those that are not cat fanciers. I love dogs as well. I've had two St. Bernards, talk about
750-1000 watt eBike motors. St Bernards produce that 'walking' :)

So my greenped dongle has arrived.

Its a plug in module that goes between the motor connections and the speed sensor. It has bluetooth so you download an app which you use to set the parameters.

So far it's great. better than the speedbox 2 which I tried 2 of and both switched the bike off whist riding.

I can certainly recommend it.
