Just got a new X7 folding ebike from Eahora a little over a month ago. As others have reported, had minor damage in shipping, but nothing I couldn't fix. Now in my 60's, I didn't expect ever to ride the steep terrain in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Yet pedal assist has made it possible to go places I hadn't dreamed of riding in decades! Only problem now is a bearing on the front (steering) stem is damaged. I'm about to post a description of the problem on the X7 site - hoping for some advice there. Cheers!

Welcome to EBR. Awesome photo of your bike by that "little bush". I'm from the east and when I saw redwoods years ago it was in tourist season, and the trails were packed with groups of camera carrying foreign tourists.

Thanks Art! Back in 1903 president TR saw his first redwoods here, a couple of days before meeting and camping with John Muir in Yosemite. I'm a docent here at Cowell, and we get visitors from around the world. Come back anytime!

My wife is a professor who is retiring this semester, so I'm thinking a trip west may be possible this year. IIRC a docent is like a visiting professor. Maybe?

In our (much) younger years BK (before kids) my wife and I would hike Henry Cowell. Beautiful country.

Welcome to ebiking!

Welcome KaBob, contact the seller/manufacturer EBR and let them know about the problem and let them deal with it. It should be under warranty. Good luck and ride safe.
