A recently retired avid female cyclist, I’ve just succumbed and bought a Merida eSpeeder. Love this bike although it’s quite a stiff ride. It provides just enough of a boost to get you over those tricky hills while you still feel you’re having to work, which I like. Anyone else got one?

Ebikes are different than what you are accustomed to ride. You may find more range using a bit
lower gear with a little higher cadence. It will reduce stress on both you & the motor.

At my age in this beat up old carcass, no bike is too easy to ride
....well maybe?
