Hi Greg - just curious what your take is on ebike demand around SE Michigan? Have you seen more recent interest? Is the community growing? I'm in metro Detroit and currently ebike shopping. Pedego isn't on my list although they have nice bikes. I'm really looking for a high performing city commuter to enable a 32 mile round trip commute to work (into downtown Detroit). I currently see a few bike commuters along my route but haven't seen any ebike commuters. I'm hoping in the near future to see more. Anyway, it was good to see a post from a SE Michigan shop on this forum.

Hi Over 50. Thanks for your reply to my post! Yes, ebikes are becoming more popular, it's just a slow process to educate people with new and exciting popular technology. The community is growing, every year. We've been selling Pedegos for six years now. It's the only ebike we sell because I believe in them so much. And, the manufacture is great to work with and is great with Customers too. They back their product 110%.
I want to invite you to our Bike Shop so we can talk and you can take a Pedego for a test ride. Our popular City Commuter with a 48 volt/15 amp battery, in the pedal assist mode, with get you about 50-60 miles on one charge. Feel free to check out our web site at: www.pedegojunction.com
Of course, if you have any questions you can call or email at: 810-543-1111 or, [email protected]
Looking forward to discussing more at your leisure.
Greg

Over50, do take Greg up on his offer. Pedegos really are very comfortable. At the very least it will give you something to compare other bikes to.

Thanks Greg. Yes I am sure I will. Once I get back from this ebike expo in DC (assuming that trip happens - some doubt 2 days prior due to hurricane) then I will try to plan to get out there. Thanks for the invite.

As of now, it doesn't look like Matthew will impact the DC area. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
