Hi there, new forum member and fairly new owner of an ebike.
My partner and I dipped our toe in the water before Christmas and bought a Btwin Tilt 500 E - an entry-level bike to see what difference it might make and what we do/don't like. It's so far been a huge success even though it has flaws. It has fully replaced the bus on my commute, used regularly for shopping, and generally cycling a lot more.
Thinking our next might be a Tern Vektron, as we live in a small flat so storage is minimal. It'd also help to be occasionally able to bring it on the train when we travel to Ireland or around the country - that way we can cut out car use as much as possible. In the long run can see us getting a cargo bike of some description for when we have kids - though that's a few years out still.
Very interested in the latest news, and keeping an eye out for new reliable models.
