I have a new e-bike Trek Verve+ :) its kinda hilly where I live so unsure if it's enough help for me on these hills :O but still loving the freedom! I thought I should meet you all in case Im doing something wrong before I trade up for a stronger bike. hmmm Thanks ahead for taking the time to share advice.

Im 5 ft tall so I need a small step through that can help me on the hills. The Trek Verve+ really helped about 5-10% :( I've ordered the evelo aurora hoping it wont be too big. fingers crossed! Also considering the Riese+Muller Nevo. hmmm

@wiredbean - It's too bad the bike didn't fit you well. I'd borrowed a medium frame bike for a day and while I could ride it well enough I found the standover height to be too much. And maybe dangerous when riding in stop and go city traffic and you suddenly have to put your foot down on uneven ground. So I managed to find the very last small frame bike of the model I wanted and I'm having it shipped clear across Canada to me. (Okay, not quite "clear across"... but from Edmonton AB to Montreal QC.)

One thing found at least with Giant e-bikes is that the standover height DIFFERS on different models... so if a medium fits you in one model it might not in another. So you've got to try one or at least check the specs very carefully before ordering.

When do you expect the new bike?

I ordered the evelo aurora limited edition. Am 5'5" and, though it was a really nice bike, completely overpowered me. I had so much trouble getting on and off of it. Can't imagine how it would work for you. Evelo is a wonderful company and they were great to work with. Simply put, the bike frame is just too big for smaller folks.
