I've been reading this forum for a while now, but only just gotten around for joining

Anyway, hello from Perth, Scotland. My old bike is an EBCO m-35 and my new pride and joy is a Giant Dailytour E +1 2020

Welcome to the site.
Nice scenic quay to ride to. My town is on the riverfront but the concert park and various houses are in front of the view. If I cross the river (120' in the air on the Big 4 bridge) Louisville has a nice scene like this. Also a steamboat.

Lovely bike! I'm considering exactly the same model.

Can you tell me how easy is it to remove the battery.
I've got to say, whilst my knowledge of bikes of any type is very limited, I am thoroughly enjoying this one and it's a pleasure to ride. Having said that, I don't find it particularly easy to remove the battery as it drops down underneath and tricky to open the catch. I just charge my bike with the battery in situ.

That is the only thing I've found with the bike so far that I'm not thoroughly impressed by. If you can live with that slight issue you will be very pleased if you buy it

Good luck with whatever you decide

Welcome! Nice bike!

I rode my (conventional) bike through Scotland for four weeks in the early 90s and have been meaning to go back ever since. So many beautiful miles to cover.

Welcome to the forums! That is an interesting great looking Giant. We do not have the model in Canada. Does it have a Nexus hub shifter along with the belt drive? Also does it have a headlight built into the front of the fender?

Same here. These ebike batteries can be a beast to lift and maneuver. I have a Trek & Specialized and charge them both with the battery on the bike. It’s just easier.

Hello and yes to both. It has a Nexus hub shifter and there are two built in front lights. One always on built into the front of the frame and then the one headlight in the front mudguard that comes on automatically when it gets dark. It can also be turned on / off as you want.
