Living 2 miles from Kentucky, I sort of thought Ohio was in the way. They call this metro area Kentuckiana. I've been east to Ashland,KY: across the river is Ironton, OH. Start of Henry Ford's DT&I Rwy.
I ride my ebike from the city to the woods, but park it under a big tree when I walk into the woods. I own 6 acres of woods & 17 acres of grassland. It's 10 deg cooler out there in the summer, but also in the winter. I stay in town in the winter, with gas heat & insulation.

Another hello from Central Pennsylvania. Snyder county on the Susquehanna. There are several of us, and even the occasional group ride... easy trails, not much singletrack for me.

Track! That makes sense, especially on Stony Valley. Apparently that was one of the most remote and toughest places for a railroad, when it was built. It hard to believe that entire area was stripped clean from clear cutting. An ecological disaster area. I've seen pictures of it and it looked...
