New today, I adapted two old but working push bikes using Voilamart front wheel motors and 48 V controllers a while ago. Now we are getting to use them on the quiet French country roads. Picture to follow.
My bike is growling when giving torque, I feel it is getting worse and will open the hub up soon to look inside. The other one runs silently. I did not use the pedal sensor or speed limiter, but we drive slowly on the original bike brakes.
Maybe I will get ambitious and upgrade, but I notice prices have risen a lot since a few years ago when I started.
