Hi all, I‘m looking forward to digging through the weath of information and advice here.
I‘ve just got my first e bike, a Cube Kathmandu Hybrid One, and I‘m loving it. I overdid it a bit in the first week and aggravated an old knee problem but this hasn’t stopped me from riding daily. I just put it in turbo mode and the 85nm (63 ft lbf?) from the Bosch CX Gen 4 will drag my bike and my heavy old butt up anything. It‘s great fun seeing people’s reactions when I ride this corkscrew path up to one of the Rhine bridges sitting comfortably on the saddle.

A big welcome to you McSchotte, nice to have you and that is a fine looking bike. Lots of friendly people here and advice is always available, and welcome as well. Send some photos of your travels along the way. Good luck and always safe travels.

Wow @McSchotte 88, those are beautiful pictures! Your bike looks great, so happy to hear that you're enjoying it! Welcome to the forums, hope your knee feels better soon... but at least you can have fun online until then ;)

I traveled to Germany once and we visited the Rhine river to see a castle. It was amazing, really good food and interesting people. Hello from Canada and the US! I'm in Vancouver now and we have some similar rivers... but no castles!
