I am not a bike expert or mechanical. I just like riding bikes. I bought a BH Evo Easymotion Street 2015/2016 in Nov 2016 as my first Ebike from Electric Spoke/Voltaire in NY/NJ area. Rode it for a little over 100 miles. Shortly after, due to multiple foot and ankle injuries I had to have casts, treatments, more casts and eventual surgery. Fast forward to 2020, when I was ready to ride a bike again. My new bike had sat in our garage till last year unused with only 120 miles. Last year when I plugged in the battery, it charged fine. When I put the battery on the bike, the display panel did not register its existence. I called the bike shop Voltaire where I had purchased the bike. They informed me that it is probably some sort of a controller that goes bad in this kind of bike. That part communicates with the Display. They also informed me that part cost around $ 150- $200. Unfortunately, there are no bike shops in my area that work on BH bikes as they have a very limited US presence at this point. After a few months of research, I moved on, bought another bike and am enjoying riding. However, I would like to know if anyone is interested in purchasing my BH Evo Easymotion Street bike.
Thank you.
Thank you.
