Having just bought a 2020 GX, I thought applying to join the forum would be sensible as I hope to learn and contribute so thanks for accepting me.
I wanted to temporarily reduce its weight and size in order to take it on a small dinghy to a boat, so experimented by removing the wheels, saddle, right handle pedal crank and battery it is now a more manageable size and weight. It is down from 19.2kg to 11.7kg but, of course there are the other parts but all in all far more manageable.
As the bike will be in a marine environment I want to check the drive chain and gear change mechanism to ensure it is in order so how does one remove the cleandrive cover?
Many thanks,
