Hello, I’m Ragesh and just joined the forum. I live in NW London (Pinner to be precise) and recently equipped myself with a Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0 2023 to replace my car! I’ve done around 35 miles so far and absolutely loving it!

Welcome to the site.
I also have given up using a car. I see your panniers on the back for supplies. I made a grocery run yesterday.
I see Pinner on the Nicholson Street Guide on the Metropolitan line out beyond Harrow. I also live in the suburbs, SE of Louisville.

👍🏽 I’m considering getting the specialized plastic panniers for grocery runs as the bag I had is not that heavy weight. I currently have the Topeak MTX DXP Trunk Bag with fold out panniers on a Quicktrack mount.

My panniers are fabric, but at least as heavy fabric as a pair of mechanic's pants. Sold by yubabike, the bike manufacturer. In 5 1/2 years no fabric rips, but one seam did come unglued. Poked holes in it and screwed the seam together with stainless steel screws, brass washers, and nuts. Panniers have a bar riveted to back at top. Bike has a rack for car child seats welded to the back. I tie the pannier bar to the rack with baling twine or shoelaces. On in 2 minutes, off in 1 minute since I use half hitches and hangman's loops. BIke original footrests hold the bottom of the panniers up.
