Has anyone found a more comfortable handle that fairly inexpensive and will let you still fold the bike. kinda have my eye on a 3.5 inch raised one but dont want to mess up cables nor steering.

Bump to see if anyone has changed out the handlebars. I too want to change out the handlebars

raised handlebar shouldn’t make any difference since you’ll not extend the handlebar stem the same distance if the handlebar itself has a rise in it.
most handlebar replacements are inexpensive.
this thread discusses handlebar options: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/are-the-xp-handlebars-25-6-or-31-8.39223/#post-367619

and this thread also goes into a lot of handlebar discussion: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/accessories-for-your-xp.29844/

I was looking to add beach cruiser handlebars, just wondering if anyone else has done it before I buy.

I´ve put riser bars on my bikes for my back. Upright is more comfortable, but limited by cable
length unless you get a longer wire harness.

You can do many things, I replaced the front end on my 1.0

I did the front end a while ago, and I just used the cheapest banana seat and sissy bar I could get. Basket bars are Origin8 C;assique CargoUnit. I used a threaded fork and stem.
