I just got my ebike and have some questions. I had spinal surgery a year ago. Since then, I have weakness and neuropathy in both legs and feet and can no longer ride my old bike. I'm wondering how it will be to steer and make turns with a heavier bike. I'm concerned about riding for this reason. If anyone who has a similar disability or can address this issue, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks!!

I bought a used Jupiter Discovery x5 as it was lighter than my other e bike and folds. I think it weighs around 30 lbs. It is easy to steer and turn. I could also control speed well. You can peddle with 0 assist but don't recommend that for you. Start in assist level 1. When going down hill or around a sharp corner just stop peddling and it will glide, brake will also cut assistance. I left it in 1, just stopped peddling on downhill and then started again so I did not need to keep changing assistance levels. If you want to go faster than 9-10 mph turn assistance level up to 2. Good exercise. It has a throttle to to help you get started from stop. It is easy to get on and off, seat is adjustable, very stable, nimble. My other bike is bigger and more efficient and has better range but this x5 is fun, very comfortable and stable and great for beginners or short trips with no steep hills.

Great looking frame on those bikes. And the weight is great.

I have stenosis and at times a very weak left leg, this bike will allow you to actually get exercise without having to punish yourself for it, remember if the pull gets too hard grab another level of assist. I found out as time goes by I can pull steep grades better with less assistance, just watch your Hamstrings stretch them a little when you get up in the morning and ignore some of the pain, get a comfortable seat, remember when chugging up a hill the less speed you try to achieve the easier the pull. Steering is no problem, just make sure you can get off the bike, thats the reason I favor womans or step thru bikes.
