I am trying to find and buy a Giant EnergyPak 400, 36V 11.3Ah battery, dealer can't find one. 500 would be even better if compatable. Any suggestions where I might find a battery?

I did. In fact my dealer ordered one based on Giant's representation it was compatible with my Explorer. When I went to pick it up it was not compatible. The EnergyPak 400, 36V 11.3Ah battery loads from the side. The ones shown on the site you referenced are integrated.

Gotcha, but I think it's available onthe Canadian site, or at least they list a side pull one.
It would be nice if they listed compatibility - typical piss poor website for stuff like that.

Yep I went to the Canadian site clicked on the batter and it is not available now. I asked to be notified when it becomes available in Canada as I am in northern Michigan not far from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I think the problem is covid and/or the trade war with China. My hope is there may be a dealer out there who has a batter in its inventory.
