No doubt there are some experts out there to tell me if I can repurpose this for a functional use with my 36v LiPo eBike batteries and if so what adaptors do I need?

If the charger is functional, yes you can use that to charge your 36V LiPO pack. The manual + instruction can be found here: http://www.batteryspace.com/prod-specs/6343.pdf

Thank you Ravi....I will proceed. Looks like I will have to fabricate my own charging cable but I am glad I can now maintain these batteries properly. I have been doing it using the timer on my Alexia. Not as good as the system Luna offers but theirs ain't free
