Giant Full-E water ingress

Love my Giant Full-E. Amazing climbing ability even with this mature rider. No issues with the function of the two chainrings as reported in one thread.
Just got my bike back from the dealer who replaced the controller due to water ingress after use in heavy rain conditions. Hopefully all good.
But I have had and still have fogging of the dashboard display. Initially this was just a few spots which cleared but got so bad in the rainy ride (cold & wet) that you could not read the display.
Spoke with another Giant E owner who has a similar light fogging. I am told these are sealed units, so is it captured humidity? My fellow E-Bike riders on other brands on this wet ride have no similar issues. Should not be happening and I worry about its possible effect on the display unit electrics. Is this common? Is there a fix?

I put a plastic sandwich bag held on by a rubber band over my displays when it's wet out or transporting on my rear car carrier. You can still see the display and operate the buttons if necessary. I had a CAII fill up with water and that was all the incentive I needed to find a solution.

Just an update on this for anyone still suffering with wet evo screens. The latest generation look to be a much more waterproof design - all the joints have silicon and the wires have sealant. Compare my old screen ( left) with the unit I got under warranty .
