Hi,
Bought an Ebike from Canada and imported into South Africa. In South Africa our electricity is 220v and in Canada it is 100-120v.
To cut a long story short, me in my stupidity and excitement plugged the charger into the 220v and the charger blew and I can smell burning.
Any advice if I can get parts or circuit board and fix this. Or cut my losses and buy a new one.
May want to fix and keep as spare with an inverter to downscale 220v to 110v.
Thanks,
Giant battery charger Model: 544M36V4A-0.6V.
Input: 100-120v - 3A.
Kind Regards,
Gary Laue
