Gazelle Internal Battery Connector came loose. How to fix?

So I have had trouble with inserting my battery until today when the internal connector came loose completely. The screws that hold it in place are gone. I assume one came loose so it wasn't aligned well for a while and then the second one left today. How do I get this out to fix? I removed the 3 screws holding it to the frame and it is loose but I think the lock might be holding it from coming out. I can remove the lock mechanism but is that it or another trick?

Thanks

Do what you gotta do. Just keep working at it till you get it out. Take pictures as you go to help put it all together correctly.

Thanks for the tops. I loosened the lock cylinder and with enough jiggling I got the plate out. I am sourcing some more M5 screws and loctite today to fix tonight. The good news is it happened AFTER the weekend trip to Vermont. The bad news is I missed a perfect fall day to commute to work today.
