Front Tire of CrossCurrent Air Isn't Smooth

Hey guys, just got my CrossCurrent Air a few days ago. It's my first electric bike and my god it's a total game changer for me, I've taken it all around NYC and am loving it.

I'm having an issue with the front tire though. The metal disc on the tire isn't moving through the brake caliper smoothly. Any suggestions? The front brake is also a bit rough. I'm new to bikes in general so I don't know all the terms so bear with me.

Thanks!

EDIT: Here's a quick video of part of my ride this morning, you can hear the issue pretty clearly

I have the standard Cross Current but I fixed that noise by loosening the two bolts on the brake caliper and looking straight down to make sure there’s a gap on either side of the rotor. Ideally you want the same gap on either side of the brake rotor. You just grab the caliper and move it around until you get the position you want and tighten the bolts down.

Which two bolts are you referring to exactly? From what I can tell, the bolt labelled "R-PAD IN" looks like the one to adjust. The two next to it are impossible to turn. When I turn the R-PAD bolt to the right it gives me more room but the problem I'm realizing is that the disc on the tire isn't going through straight. Certain parts of the disc go through fine but one part may be warped because it scrapes the brake caliper.

NYC, aren't ebikes illegal there?
Electric bikes with throttles are illegal here. Other than that it's a bit of a gray area although people are trying to get them fully legalized. I'm new to this so I might not have all my facts straight but that's pretty much the gist of it. When I'm biking near police or other non-electric bikers I bring my assist level down to 1 or 2 and generally try and blend in.

Sounds like the Shimano mechanical disk brakes have an adjustment screw. If your rotor is really warped than you might have to replace it to get rid of the noise. I know some people try bending them to get them straight but that’s a double edged sword.

Yeah the rotor is definitely warped both ways actually, one rotation around hits the brake caliper on both sides. I emailed Juiced support, let's see what they say. Thanks for your help!

Another possible cause for something like this is loose cones. Good idea to check them periodically.
