Friend has Creo with Mastmind TCU, symbols showed up on ride side of screen

When were stopped today he showed me the screen. To the right hand side were two small symbols; one looked like a small triangle pointing to the right and there was one underneath that one that look like maybe a chain link symbol. Anyone know what I'm talking about and what they mean?

I think there must be a way to click on the symbols to get more information.
I wonder if you can somehow move an indicator over to those symbols and then click on them. I have a feeling the link symbol may have something to do with giving you explanations (help) about how to change something on the display?
