It's a slow Friday at work (from home), and this amused me to no end.

The Zeltini Z-Triton is an electric trike that is also an e-boat and mini camper (though I question that it sleeps two comfortably unless they're REALLY friendly) :)

And yeah, he's taking pre-orders for ready built and DIY kits. :)

Oh my word... I want one!

And then I looked at the pre-order price... time to ask Court for a raise! 😅

Just as long as the sidebars on the site don't get littered with ads. :)

And yeah, 10,000 Euros for it assembled is a bit much, unless I move into it (since I have no room in the condo to store it). :D

Sorry, but that's about the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time! Any decent boat wake or waves would swamp it. I doubt if you could legally drive it on the road, and it would require registration as a boat. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
I know of which I speak, as an avid boater with a USCG 100 ton Master Captain license...

Heheh... you better not read up on the Shuttle Bike then... dumb and fun are not mutually exclusive. :D

Seems like it should have pedal function, rather than (or combined with) electric trolling motor. But I agree, as a boat it would be unsafe on many bodies of water and in all but the most benign conditions. And I speak as a long-time kayaker--opposite end of the spectrum from a 100 ton Master Captain license.

A skillfully handled sea kayak can survive extremely rough conditions, including breaking seas and surf. Running downwind is the most dangerous (in my experience), since it is easy to broach, which can lead to a capsize.
