Hello , My third ebike Electra Townie 26 inch so I can now touch the ground from the seated position ... All is going pretty well till tonite when I changed the front tire ...I have a Magic Pie 5 1000 watts on the front ....Soooo I noticed the dropout seemed a little wider and the motor "axel" rocked a little in there ??? I have Torque arms on both sides I haven't noticed any problems and when the nuts are torqued down the " axel" doesn't move ... I have been riding about 6 miles at 10-12 MPH most every day for almost a year for exercise . So I've put some miles on it ... There's no way to get a steel replacement fork for this that will still keep the Rake etc the same ...Sorry this is so long ...Don J ..

Without pics I can’t tell but that’s something I’d take immediately to my dealer. Trek bikes have lifetime frame warranty so take it up with them.

Lifetime warranty as they come from the factory maybe. I'd be REAL surprised if they covered a powered front hub conversion.....

I'm pretty sure you're going to hear YOU modified it, YOU own it....

Something is wrong with the torque arms used and their fit. No way will a 1000W F DD tear up a dropout unless quite a sloppy fit or poor fit and aluminum fork.
