Hello, fellow ebikers!
Only a few more days left in the holiday season. Maybe you are snowed in or left it too late to mail them a gift. Maybe you just couldn’t think what to get for that particular someone. Maybe they took a lot of flights and would like to offset their carbon, if they could only figure out how. Or maybe you just love trees and think it is the best thing you can give anyone.
I have a solution for you!
Make a donation to Our Forest Fund in honor of the recipient. Then forward your email receipt to me at [email protected], along with the name and email of your honored someone. We will send out an ecard notifying them of your gift.
You and your recipient will be helping to mitigate climate change, provide wildlife habitat, clean & filter the air, control erosion and stormwater runoff, and sequester carbon for generations to come.
No stamp or envelope required, no standing at the post office hoping it will get where it needs to go in time. And it is tax-deductible for you! A win-win-win for everyone, because let’s face it: we don’t need more stuff in this world — we need more trees!
I realize that some may say this is blatant solicitation, and I suppose that is true, but it is for a non-profit organization seeking to save trees in the largest county park in the US (that we know of) and it has miles of bike trails. And it could solve your problem of what to get old so'n'so...
