First Ride of the CrossTour

Not exactly sure how to write a review (this is my first) but let me just say,... Holy Sh*t!

My first ride was mostly pavement, but there was some dirt, mud, and even snow, to be found. The combination of the motor (I can’t imagine needing more power), suspension, and fat tires, really makes it feel like you can go anywhere. It’s a beast.

Only got 20 miles in before it got dark/cold (Boston), but it was awesome. More to come.

The bike looks great and you have almost 1800wh right? This titanium + fat tire combo is really nice.

The only thing that feels a little off is the placement of the second battery, doesn't it make it a little hard to mount ? Would have been great if it could have been attached to seat or top tube.

Wow. You did the minuteman. That is awesome. Love that trail.

Great meeting you again Kelly. Your custom bike mount / stand is phenomenal as well.👍

1760wh total. The top battery works for me, but I’m 6’2” (34” inseam).

WattWagon CrossTour Hyper-Mile Range Test: I did a 44 mile loop, with 3,000ft elevation gain. I was trying to see how much range I could sqeeze out of my two batteries, so I tried to maintain a cadence and peddle pressure similar to riding a single speed beach cruiser, about 10mph, on flat ground, with no wind (In other words, something I could do all day). My average speed on this ride was right at 10 mph. I coasted at speeds above 10mph (downhills). 90% of the time I was in PAS level 1. On steep hills, I ran 3rd gear, level 3, about 5 mph.

Results: I only used 45% of my two batteries to go 44.1 miles! AMAZING!!! Especially when you consider I weigh 215 pounds, was pulling a trailer, with 40 pounds of cargo, and climbed 3,000 ft. With no trailer, on flatter ground, I would get WAY over 100 mile range!!!

Note: The two battery reports were pulled from BMS Doctor App, at the end of the ride.
